A very rare guitar from the sought-after "Beginning of the new Tradition" series by Bacchus / Headway / Deviser.
Offered for sale is a Japanese-made Bacchus "Beginning of the New Tradition" HSS electric guitar with 24 frets, volume and tone controls, and a 5-way selector switch.
The guitar is in very good condition, with the exception of two small dents on the headstock (see photo).
Bacchus is a company by Momose / Deviser / Headway / Seventy Seven. The company is among the best guitar makers in Japan.
This guitar dates from Bacchus' early years. The "Beginning of the New Tradition" series is highly sought after today.
The tone switch allows for a variety of useful tones, not just "completely open or muffled and lifeless," as is the case with many electric guitars.
A tremolo arm is included, but is not installed in most of the photos.
The guitar has been cleaned and well set up, has good action, and is strung with new strings.
The metallic blue ("Placid Lake Blue") appears somewhat dark and non-metallic in the photos taken in sunlight. The last photo gives an impression of the interior of a building.
The backing is missing.
I ship worldwide in a sturdy, oversized box. Shipping within the EU is possible.
