Tokai Cat's Eye CE-250 acoustic guitar. For its age of almost 50 years, it's in very good condition.
This guitar sounds better than several CE-300s and a CE-400, and even louder and fuller than a CE-1200 I had in the shop.
The neck has only imperceptible discoloration; otherwise, it's flawless. The rest of the guitar also shows hardly any signs of use, and the headstock is free of dents.
There's a visible glue mark at the neck heel, but it doesn't affect the guitar's structure.
The finish is slightly faded in some areas.
The guitar has been cleaned, oiled, and set up. New strings have been installed.
The bridge saddle has plenty of clearance, and the truss rod can be adjusted. The neck relief is set so that the neck is practically straight.
String height at the 12th fret: 6th low E 4mm, 1st high E 3mm.
A case from the same era can be purchased for an additional 30 francs upon request.
